Camilla Wrabetz is an artist currently based in Coventry, UK, and is in her third year at Coventry University. She was born in Milan, Italy, and moved to Buffalo, New York in 2011. Her unique experience in different countries influences the ambiguity of her art practice, which takes on an abstract, and multifaceted format. The cartographic elements used within her practice are vital to a layering process that helps imitate the stratification of experience over time between different locations and spaces. This combination of process and textural painting technique allows more dimension within each piece. Her work’s main goal is to challenge and question the regular narrative of time and place by creating complex and diverse abstractions.
